What is YouTube Transcript Server?
YouTube Transcript Server is a free and open-source tool that enables you to grab the real transcript from any YouTube video, like a quiet, no-nonsense helper that pulls out the spoken words and puts them in plain text.
No fluff. No fake summaries. Just the actual words people said, exactly as they were spoken.
You give it a YouTube link, whether it’s a long video, a Short, or just the ID, and it returns the full text. You can ask for it in another language (like Korean, Arabic, or Spanish), and if that version isn’t available, it’ll fall back to what’s there.
Want timestamps? It can add them, so you know when each line was said.
Want to cut out the ads and sponsorships? Yes, it automatically removes those parts using chapter markers, so you’re left with only the real content.
